Vaporiser Servicing (Isoflurane) & Recalibration
Gas Control Services offers the only Vaporiser Service Centre in South Australia, with over 30 years experience.
Attention All Veterinary Services: As a critical component of your anaesthetic system, it is important that the vaporiser operates correctly and that it delivers the correct concentration of isoflurane to the patient.
Manufacturers state that regular service and recalibration greatly enhances reliability and therefore patient safety.
Calibration of vaporiser is impossible to do ‘onsite’ as it must be done in a controlled environment.
Anyone telling you otherwise is misleading you.
During recalibration we carry out preventative maintenance so that your unit is in ‘as new’ condition.
Each vaporiser is dismantled and cleaned on arrival at our facility. Any major damage is identified and the customer is advised if additional work is required. Seals are replaced as required and the unit is reassembled and function tested.
The vaporiser undergoes calibration testing as per Australian Standard AS4059-1992 Appendix F and any adjustments required are carried out.
The unit is leak tested, a calibration performance label is attached and a maintenance record is kept on our files.
Gas Control Services can supply loan units at no cost.
Please Note: We do not service domestic gas equipment
